

Jim Bodtke is the founding partner of the firm
started in 1982. He holds a CPA certificate in Illinois.
Jim practices in the area of Tax, Consulting, and
Employee Benefits. He also performs business valuations
completing both the AICPA continuing education series
on business valuation and his membership in the
American Society of Appraisers.
Prior to
forming the firm, he worked with Peat, Marwick &
Mitchell in the Peoria office and spent much of
his early career traveling the United States on
their  audit staff.

of Illinois Champaign/Urbana. |

Wharton School |
Jim teaches accounting in the graduate and undergraduate
school at the Foster College of Business at Bradley
University. He also edits and writes for the Illinois
Tax School workbook published by the University
of Illinois ACES college and speaks regularly on
accounting, tax and benefits issues.
Jim
is married, lives in Edelstein with his wife Sandra
and children Michael (age 14) and Jaimee Renee (age
12).
You will find him and his dog Tucker
chasing waterfowl across Canada and the US during
the fall of the year, and the rest of the year raising
money for his favorite conservation organization
Ducks Unlimited for which he is a Life Sponsor.
